SMX expands international sales reach with UK distributor appointment
SMX International, the global pipe connection and flow control products company, has appointed L&N Scotland to handle sales of its range of products to oil and gas sector assets and projects based in, or managed from, the Aberdeen area. The move is part of SMX’s expanding international sales presence.
SMX International offers high integrity pipe connectors, forged fittings and flow control products for critical applications in the oil and gas industry and wider power and process industry sectors.
Among these is the SMX clamp connector, offering significant benefits over traditional ANSI flange connections, including substantial space and weight savings and leak-free performance. Also included in the range is the recently launched Non-Slam Nozzle Check Valve which provides faster dynamic performance than previously thought possible, and the lowest pressure loss of any valve currently on the market – performance advantages that result in substantial through-life cost savings. Other products include ball joints, such as Uni-Ball (providing bi-directional movement through 360 degrees of rotation) and Flexiball (providing the same movement plus up to 30 degrees of axial pivot).
L&N Scotland is an independent engineering company located in Aberdeen, and is ideally placed to offer the SMX products and promote the brand to customers in the UK and overseas offshore oil & gas sector, building on the company’s experienced and knowledgeable staff, and extensive network of contacts and relationships in the Aberdeen region.
